Sounds like it could be a couple of things, either the program needs a DLL that is not installed on your system or quits because you didn't give it any (or the correct) parameters. You should definitely use the CMD program (it's DOS) and try the command there. You will need to cd to the directory where you installed the program and if that is different then where the MC world files are installed then you will need to give the program the full path to them. This is why I just dump the program in the same directory where MC is installed. It might be something else too, I haven't used Windows in many, many years so I'm out of date on it.
If you run the program in the CMD window and there are errors the program should display them in the same window. Hope that helps.

Wohoo finally! I had forgotten about how to properly use the dos program. I learned it at school a year ago and fortunately I found my old sheet of paper with dos commands and got it working. I might even write a tutorial for noobs like megrimm wrote:Sounds like it could be a couple of things, either the program needs a DLL that is not installed on your system or quits because you didn't give it any (or the correct) parameters. Ok, it's nice but Octane keep crashing and my PC hangs up Voxelizing the *.OBJ file (146 MB), any advice to reduce the size of the obj file?

Sorry I missed this question:Ayertosco wrote:Ok, it's nice but Octane keep crashing and my PC hangs up Voxelizing the *.OBJ file (146 MB), any advice to reduce the size of the obj file?
There are several ways, you can limit the area (-s), limit the height (-y), or limit the number of polygons generated (-fk) by changing the command line parameters on the program.
