Hi all,
We noticed on a project that whenever a character rig is present in a scene, the time it takes to collect assets and start the rendering progress EXPLODES litterally from 1 minute to ten...
I have absolutely no clue on what causes this problem but it has been identified on many different PCs on various projects with clean scenes.
Anyone knows what would be the problem ?
EDIT : Another info, the character has been rigged through mixamo auto-rig algorythm. Might be the problem.

Which exact version of plugin are you using?
Could you share a simple example scene with assets so we can have a look?

I'm using Octane version 2026.1 (liveviewer Build 1.8.1).
I will link the problematic file below (I have removed all textures and geometry as this is a confidential project, but the problematic rig is still in there).
Just open and shoot Octane !

Ok, please upgrade to new version 2026.3-v1.9.3:
