I am trying to create a glitter type material using a flakes node connected to the normal channel of a material.

How can I increase the strength of the effect? When I use a normal map image I can bump up the power, but there's no power setting on the flakes node.

Hi,

You can try with new "NormalMap(MX)" node, with Flakes in the "in " pin, and a FloatTexture in the "Scale" pin, so you can enter values greater than 1:

Something else to consider might be to separate the flakes to their own layer for even more control.
