When I use fill lights I like to hide them in mirrors by using light ID's and Light Pass Mask. But I see now it only works on Diffuse and Glossy materials. It doesn't work for Specular materials.
Is there any way to get it to work with Specular materials? And why did Otoy leave out Specular materials in the Light Pass Mask ?
In the old days I used Glossy for characters which works in mirrors by using Light Pass Mask. Now my characters are made with Specular material to get better SSS on characters. But now - in mirrors - they don't received the hidden fill lights. What do you guys do when hiding fill lights in mirrors?

Hi,

There is a new "Trace sets" powerful feature in 2026.1-Beta1 that should be perfect for your needs:
