When comes the fitting C4D Plug release for current official Octane 2024.1.1. ?
The Stable Versions of 2024.1.1. and Stable Versions of C4D Plug 2024.1.-R3 seems not to fit.
Tip: it would help, to clearly identify releases related to each other. Its a mess, when administrating client nodes, diverse masters etc...or at least a note, which Plugin will fit exactly to each Octane Version at the official DOWNLOAD page, instead to burry these relevant info into the depth of the forums ...
Cinema4D version 2024.1-[R3] latest stable (11.10.2024)

Hi,
plugin devs need some time to adopt the new SDK from OctaneRender® core.
Currently, the latest stable SDK is 2024.1.2, and the plugin devs are already working on it.
2024.1.1 SDK will be skipped.
For now, you need to use Render-Node 2024.1 with 2024.1-RX versions.
ciao,
Beppe

Hi there,
I am running into new issues with this version.
Honestly going crazy with this. I am rendering long sequences around 600 Frames. 3 min per Frame.
Sometimes when I stop a render in render queue and start again, all works fine.
but most of the time, the new frames rendered aren´t working anymore in After effects. Also the size is of the file itself is reduced to half. looks like it is not saving specific passes.
although, opening a single new frame appears only black on every channel.
I am suspecting the open image denoiser on reflection and reflection passes in the AOVs but am not sure.
this is driving me crazy because I have to render them in one go to use them, which is not possible.

Is it possible for you to share you project with us so we can check what is going on?Powel2097 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 1:18 pm Hi there,

Otherwise could you share steps to reproduce?
I can´t share the project.
I deleted most of the geometry so you can see my settings.
This is the first time I used the AOV Node Editor with special denoised Passes for Reflection and refraction. And this is the frst time since years that this happens. Thats why I suspect this to be the issue.
But I can shere the 2 EXRs.
503 is from the initial render.
504 from the second one.
there is also no difference in rendering in Render queue or Window.

Is the specific issue in that 0504 is missing the reflection pass in the exr? I dont know what you are trying to achieve here, so could you specifically say what is going wrong?Powel2097 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 5:04 pm I can´t share the project.

Hi Chris,
thank you for taking the time for this.
The issue is:
when I start the render over night. I render 100 Frames.
Then I stop it for the day. In the evening I set the frames to render from 101 to 200.
And these new frames are broken, even though nothing change in the project.
This never was an issue, until I used the Open image denoiser on Reflection and Refraction passes in the AOVs.
So when I import the image sequence in After effects. The frst 100 frames look good. But the new ones are broken. Not only the AOVs but also the normal beauty pass.
here is the result in AE.
Image A is from the first render
Image B is from the second.
Same AOV pass displayed.
thank you for taking the time for this.

Maybe you are loosing the texture paths.
Try to save the project with assets, render from that scene and report back, thanks.
ciao,
Berppe
