Here it is a test I've done for sun through glass
Hope it seems so interesting for you as it is for me.
Alpha enviroment is awesome and perfect too.
And what to say about cam shift parametterssss

All of the opening is glass and there are not interior lights.

Guys regarding the camera shift.

Does it mean that you can move or offset the camera
in X or Y ? Something like Camera offset in Maya?

How are you doing this ? although we added sunlight shadows for alpha mapped materials, we did not add direct sunlight through glass in 1.4 ?
Are you using a trick ?

you didn't??
guess it was done by accident then.. a pleasant accident though :D

it worked (works in pathtracing, not in directlighting)..check it out
glass as specular material, with 25% opacity and 75% reflection (though reflections do not show, because light is on the outside- just like the way it works in real life..
