Hey there,
I really tried my best, downgrading Octane, re-setup everything, reducing the scene ...

I can not get the Light-Aov's work constantly/reliable in C4D 2024.1.0/Octane 2023 1.2.R2:
- Sometimes (I did my best to find out a more precise specification, without success) the light passes are visible in the Live viewer, sometimes not.
- Even when they seem to work in the Live Viewer, the rendered EXR/PSD-Layers (whatever format) are completely black.
- Other Aov's (i.e. Diffuse) work just fine

Hi,
just merge the scene into a new empty c4d scene, and rebuild the Render Settings from scratch:

Please aldo enable the Save Beauty option, and disable the C4D Save option:

It seems that you have an issue with Live View title, please rebuild the c4d layout from scratch, and if not enough, try to delete the oct.dat file at the following path, the c4doctane preferences will be reset to default, and a new oct.dat file will be created on next c4d start:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\Cinema4D-RXX_RANDOM_CODE\prefs\oct.dat

ciao,
Beppe
