Hi,
just tried to install the latest Octane stable the usual way (replace C4doctane folder in plugins and removed the versions not required).
Now C4d starts with the greeting window loading etc. but stops before completely loaded (before viewport visible).
Was working fine this morning.
Apologies if this is basic, not tech savvy

Please double check to have not another c4doctane folder somewhere in C4D R20.

Thanks for the reply Beppe, the problem is I can't get to the plugins folder as c4d won't launch so I can't get the edit preferences to open the plugins folder

Thanks

Type in the following in the File Explorer: %appdata%/MAXON/ and hit return. Open the directory of the actual version of Cinema where you wish to install the plugin, and follow the directions here: https://docs.otoy.com/cinema4d/InstallO ... rCine.html

Thank you, solved going back to my previous version.
Tried again with the latest stable version and got the same not launching result.
Will go back to previous version again and raise a ticket with support.

Best
