Why does denoiser kill PC performance? CPU always calculating something, display card is not even in use, and de-nosier is only available on completion. Rendering increases by 200% - 300%

Even after rendering is done in octane viewport if de-nosier is on PC will be always slow

do you mean rendering speeds increases by 200-300% if you only denoise on completion?

This makes sense. If you perform denoising only at the end of the rendering process instead of at regular intervals during rendering, the rendering time is significantly reduced.

Denoiser is set at the completion and the actual denoising takes 2-3 seconds but overall rendering goes from 1 min to 2 min per frame. It's like cards render slower. Can the devs look into it? Thanks
