Hey,
I did'nt say it's bad, nor did i say we won't implement IES,
it's just a solution you can use right now.
IES support is something we will definately add, but only after the next release after next week's comes out, with the new render kernel, so it won't be for 'tomorrow'.

How can i model a lightning physical behavior like this???radiance wrote:Hey,
All you need to do is model a set of simple lightning fixtures, then place them to your liking in your model prior to export.
You can then reuse these in further projects.
It's better than IES as you have the correct luminaire with it in your renders (eg the light source itself and it's enclosure is visible)

Exists some source of tutorial that can teach us to do this?

Check out enrico's interior lighting in this scene, that's a good example: http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=5&t=4644
