I don't know how it works in previous versions but all C4D effects and surfaces works fine in Octane as baked ones except Proximal.

Field texture in Shape mode doesn't work with Baking texture node but it works in other modes. Scene included.

Very strange bloom effect at high values of bloom power and cutoff (on the screenshot values 100000. 0.418605), rarely, but it happens that you need exactly such values

Hi Ahmet Oktar.

I would like to know if it is possible to add the option to use Vertex Map to drive / use as selection for the displacement map?
cheers!

You can already drive vertex displacement by regular Sdf objects using field texture node with gradient. Unfortunately there is bug in c4d Octane while using mesh to sdf which doesn't fully works.

yeah, actually I was testing it here and I made a selection with the vertex map where I would like to apply the displacement texture, but it doesn't work. I did the same test in redshift and it worked, I also asked a friend to do it in blender in cycles and it works perfectly too. So my question was how to do this in octane material, but from what I saw at the moment it is not possible to use the vertex map as a selection to apply the displacement map texture.

Look on attached scene. It works fine for regular SDF but not for "mesh to SDF". It is broken.

Material tag connected to Voronoi Fracture doesn't update at all - I mean projection options from tag ( projection types, offset, length U V )

Baking texture node doesn't support continuous UV - changing offset or length of UV cause that if we reached UV boundary edge it create wrong texture repeat. It is visible while baking displacement map.

Very bad issue - when node editor is opened and main material node is selected all Cinema 4D viewports doesn't update ! Deselecting material node or closing node editor resolve this.
