Cinema4D version 2023.1-Beta1-[R1] 20.07.2023

When working with UDIM tiles (8k maps), i've encountered huge slowdowns/freezes, even when just modifying other parameters in the material. I've attached a zip with all the files generated by the crash and a video of the wierd slowdowns. oct.dat was removed to regenerate a clean file but it didn't help.

Very strange black and white artifacts appear when light beams are turned on and the temperature is less than 1800~

Check my past posts. I reported some similar behavior - instead of power, I was playing with size and there was a threshold that glitched just like your example with analytic lights.krisclemson wrote:Power increase 15 of above glitches it out.

It seems like you have wrong parameter while using SDF in Octane plugin : "The VDB file in the ORBX file has the wrong data in it, it is a fog volume instead of a signed distance field. This issue is reproducible in Standalone but only when exported from C4D.

It's working here with all kernels (except PMC which doesn't support it).

Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist
3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw

Solo Node is not working on the Standard Material if Transmission = 1, any value under 1 will display it correctly. I suspect that the diffuse filter is not "active" if the material is fully transmissive.

When adding a the Flakes node in the Custom Patterns section, I get a freeze and then a crash. I'm on the latest version of C4D, 2023.2.2. I have experienced any other major issues and have gotten great render speeds so I am excited for what's to come!
