Octane Scatter madness. I placed two models in a scatter object and used a subdivided plane as the placement map, using "vertex" as the location for the models to appear. They appear exactly right in the Live Viewer (first picture), but exactly wrong when rendered to the Picture Viewer (as shown in the second picture.)
Any ideas?

Hi,
did you use a C4D Subdivision Surface object for the plane?
If yes, it has a different subdivisions for Live View and Picture Viewer, better to use an Octane Object tag, with the subdivision settings in the Subdivision Group tab.

In this way, the subdivision will be applied only at render time, the scene will be much easy to export and handle, and the polygon count will be the same between Live View and Picture Viewer.
ciao,
Beppe
