Where can I find and download the current docs for the various Apple compatible versions of Octane X? The standalone docs still say it requires an Nvidia card. There's no mention at all of AMD gpu's, the Apple Store OctaneX, Apple silicone, or the new iPad version. Do these have there own docs somewhere, or at the very least an addendum?

I'm trying to use Render Node PR14 on a Macbook Pro with 2 GPUs (AMD Radeon Pro 5500M , RX 6900 XT via eGPU) as a slave.
On the other Mac (PR14) it seems to recognize the 2 GPUs in NetRender normally.
But when I try to render, I have this error:
Octane X Enterprise PR14 (10000308)
Launching net render node (10000308) with master 192.168.100.116:1025
Compute error 2097152
Compute error 2097152:3287 on device 1:
device 1: path tracing kernel failed
Compute error 2097152
Compute error 2097152:3287 on device 0:
device 0: path tracing kernel failed
detected that all GPUs of the render node have failed -> restarting render node
Stopped logging on 19.05.23 11:23:59
Could you help me with this?
thanks

you need macOS Monterey 12.6 to be able to run OctaneX PR14.
What type of GPU do you have in the Render-Node mac?
Please write to help at otoy dot com asking for Beppe, so I can better investigate your Net Render issue.

What is the current status of cross platform render node setups? I still have an intel mac and a pc with RTX series cards… is network rendering enabled yet between the 2 sides yet?
If it does work.. and SDKs are finally synced… is there a setup guide or video for setup?
Also i am on an intel mac at the moment

Hi,
full cross-platform Network rendering works only under CUDA for now, so you should need to have an old Mac with GTX Nvidia GPU inside, High Sierra, and OctaneRender 2020.2.5 max.
From 2021.1 SDK, Network Rendering works only with Windows and Linux nodes.
Intel Mac can Net render only with Intel Mac nodes.
But the devs have just published 2023.1 Alpha version:

And full cross-platform Network rendering is going to come back with 2023.2 SDK:

Hi Otoy team, is there any update with the denoiser in Octane Blender for Mac M chips?
Using the latest version, I accidentally did a test that was showing some sort of denoising but again accidentally I lost the settings, so I wonder if there is a workaround you could share, I am interested on it mostly because I am working with glass shaders.
Big thanks for your advice!

there is not any known issues with AI Denoiser and M1/M2, with OctaneX 2022.1 or 2022.1.1.
It is working via Neural Engine, and it is pretty fast, even faster then CUDA.
Have you tried to post the issue in the Blender section of the OTOY forum?

Yes please, stay with Ventura for now!
In general, macOS beta versions are not supported, and the new macOS version is supported only starting from Golden Master in Autumn.
