But that's not how you calculate a speed percentage increase/decrease. And the "85%" in your screenshot is not the "25%" you mentioned in your post.SSmolak wrote:funk wrote:I'm confused how you are getting 25% from these 2 render times. Can you explain your formula?SSmolak wrote:Amaterasu, can you send this scene to Otoy for compare ?
166 seconds vs 194 seconds is exactly 25% if nothing has changed in recent years.
Why is there no "Real Time Rendering" in the plugins

It is 25% less (166sec ) from 100% ( 194sec ).funk wrote:

Do you mean 15%? (100 - 85 = 15)SSmolak wrote:It is 25% less (166sec ) from 100% ( 194sec ).funk wrote:

Hey no worries. Math isn't my strong point either. 15% is closer to the values I posted as well.SSmolak wrote:Ha yes sorry 15%funk wrote:Do you mean 15%? (100 - 85 = 15)But it is still too much in my opinion if we compare plugin to standalone.
I think something else must be different between the C4D render and the ORBX Standalone is rendering. eg. The plugin may be exporting some ORBX values incorrectly, which render faster

In fact, if you take Amaterasu's images and try to line them up in photoshop, they don't line up.
I don't know if its just bad cropping on the sample images, but it looks like different camera positions (or frames), which would mean the test results are flawed.
