Hi Beppe,
I have updated to Cinema 4D S26
¿Which version of the PR14 xlib should I use?
I attached a capture of the availabel .xlib files in the C4D_OctaneX_Studio_PR14 folder
I am on Monterrey 12.6.3 (21G419)
Thanks

Hi,
For C4D S26 and PR14, you need to keep the R25.xdlib file, and remove the other .xdlib unused files.

Beppe

H Beppe, Octane login window does not pop up on C4D S26 startup.
And this is what I get, a glitch no menu under octane, see attachments.
Any clue?
R25 is working fine but not Cinema 4D 26.110

Yes confirmed, the speed improvement is hugespybreak wrote:I just downloaded Octane X 2022.1.1 which mentions improved MacOS performance and I'm happy to report the improvement is HUGE.
The OctaneXBench_VolumeDenoiser scene that Beppe provided is rendering in 30 seconds on my M1 Max Macbook Pro, compared to 44 seconds on 2022.1
Super excited to try it out on C4D.
People with M2 Max Macs, please download 2022.1.1 and re-run the benchmark, I wonder if there are bigger improvements for you.

Thanks for sharing M1 Max result!
M2 Pro renders in 44", instead of 64": I need new results from M1 Ultra, M1 Pro, and M2 Max, so I can update the speed chart.
Here is the link to Standalone 2022.1.1:

And to OctaneXBench_VolumeDenoiser.orbx scene:

Please remember to upgrade macOS to 13.3, there is a fix in the Apple Metal driver.

Beppe

I'm trying to run an octane bench on my M2 Max. When I launch it, I get a warning that no supported GPU is found.
What is the octane bench score for an M2 Max with 96 GB Ram?

Mac Studio with M1 Ultra (64-core GPU) renders in 19 seconds, previously 26 seconds. A 37% speedup:
MacBook Pro M2 Max renders in 25 seconds, previously 36 seconds. A 44% speedup:
Both systems are running Mac OS 13.3.@chris_arnold: Thank you
