Hi Lewis,

i just opened one of the demo scene that came with the last Octane standalone build
(Any scene with the new Photon tracing caustics)
When opening the old demo scenes present on the benchmark tool on standalone,
everything works fine at 98/100 %
Like there was something different between old scenes saved with previous Octane versions ?
It's quite weird, and it get worse when you use the PMC kernel, my card drops to 30/40 % max load.
I found that on the lightwave plugin, pushing the Parallel samples and Max tile samples to the max helps reaching 85/90 % on the card.

Hi,
Just discovered that : If you set Parallel Samples to 32 and Max Tile Samples to 64, you will get Max GPU Load…

I confirm the issue,
in large scenes IPR renders much faster than F10.
This is a major issue, since this thread is from past year i wonder if anyone found a solution.

Okay, so the first set of peeks all at 100% are without Octane's AS.
Turn on AS you start to see the GPU use less. So it looks like it is not re-using cores to finish the render.

I see so many posts about it not running at 100%, well it is AS. It's still faster but not efficient on core usage.
