Thank you for the light improvements. I really appreciate the thoughtful updates to the plug-in. Excited to use 2022 in H!

Noobie questions — I have read a few times that the Solaris and main Octane plugin have combined. When I install Octane for Houdini, everything looks fine for the traditional rendering, but Octane does not show up in Houdini. The Octane Solaris docs have not been helpful here. My assumption is the Octane with Solaris integration is not a part of the latest 2022.1 version, I just haven’t seen that written anywhere.
The combined Houdini+Solaris plugins builds are released here once available:joelfreeman3d wrote:Noobie questions — I have read a few times that the Solaris and main Octane plugin have combined. Would it be possible to add a shortcut for picking materials in the IPR like in the old OpenGL IPR? Shift+click?

Hello,
I really like the look of Octane and I really want this to work smoothly on my pc and therefore my projects. I have been using Redshift but I like the look of Octane better.
I'm having some issues and I don't know if I'm doing something silly but I'm having some warnings and messages every time I add a render target and I can't see the new photon tracing kernel either. I have had some crashes while I'm working but I don't know if this is related to these warnings. Please see the image attached.
I would appreciate any help with this.
Cheers!

Windows 10 Pro
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core Processor

It seems that you are using the old render target hda that is in the shopnet context. You should be using the one in the matnet context.eustachiodp wrote:Hello,

Shopnet is the old way of doing things. Everything is done in matnet now
