I added an interior shot ;)

@suhail_spa:I usualy use a plane as background, it's easier as it's quite difficult to find hires hdr maps but I should manage the ligth direction as the plane cast shadows :/

nice to see more progress on this series...i like the interior shot- gives great view of outside..

now since shadows thru opacity is resolved..you can sure try daylight with these kind of exterior scenes in next release...
enricocerica wrote:@suhail_spa:Indeed, with the current release using daylight will produce some strange shadows and though I avoid to use it in such views.
but i do miss alpha channel..(hope that also included in v-5b), since creating a plane as background also affects the foreground too in terms of GI..

Nice one, maybe add some stuff like paintings/wall art/vases etc on tables to make it a bit more 'used' ?

Yeah, I tried to stay in the minimalism spirit of the model I used as reference, I'll try to make some images with more furniture and props later on.

I envy you: seems you are using the updated octane version (which we dont have yet..)- the exterior rendering, 6th image (octane_villa4_10.jpg) has shadows of leaves!! (these leaves are opacity maps)

and i just love the water effect...(i dont know if you would be comfortable in sharing the material settings  )
great stuff overall..

@suhail_spa:No, I'm still using the last published version, by chance the shadows seem ok because the sun is low but they are not correct, if you look carrefully they are squared but for this one it's ok ;)

Thanks for viewing,

By those feast days, I added some dining table images ;)
I also updated some images with props and furnitures and to fix some lighting and noise issues.

@Face:Yep, I definitely should add some pretty girl, will think to that ;)

I also would like to send my best wishes to all octaners and their family for Xmas and for this coming new year.
