Hey there. Got a strange behavior here with the LiveViewer. Any ideas?

Hi,
can you share a complete screenshot of Kernel panel?
It seems caused by a too high Coherent Ratio value.

It also produces strange articats in the shading. Dunno. It´s a Fresh install of Octane, and vanilla settings.

But yeah, lowering the Coherent Ratio to 0.5 fixes the problem. Just wondering why it produces these results at a default setting of 1.

Coherent default is 0.

Yes. Seems like I have set it to 1 in one of my presets, I guess.

Re-create your new.c4d with latest build if you have that. It takes default values from that.

Please also note that, if Coherent ratio is not zero, you must enable the Static Noise option, or you will have flickering results in animation.

ciao,
