Hi,
When I copy paste the nodes (see attached screencapture), the input connections to the tool_composite node get scrambled or disconnected.

I'm using OctaneSolarisEnterprise_2021.1.5.0_Houdini_19.0.622_Win64
(I'm using the legacy material / render workflow, haven't tested in Solaris)

Thanks,
Yaniv

Hi WhyGee,

Thank you so much for reporting this.
The issue is that the composite tool has dynamic pins and changing from default 4 to 2 has lost the connection.

Would you please keep the default pins to 4 and see if it works?

cheers
Kind Regards

keeping 4 pins wont work.. because the previous pins will be overwritten.. so if you put things in layer 1,2 you dont see them. I sent this issue to Juanjo today as well.

Thank you, heimlich! Just wanted to confirm if you are running the latest builds `Octane Solaris plugin 2021.1.5 - 08 08 22 [Test]` for H19.5.303.
We have set the default `Tool Composite` layer default to 4 but as you have said once we change the layer the node is created before updating the number of inputs, and the connections are lost. Copy/paste should work if we use the default 4 layers. Hope we could fix this in the later releases.

cheers
Kind Regards
