Ok so I've definitely decided to bite more than I can chew... I've been learning C4D for the past 3 months, and with each tutorial, I probably felt more confused than before. Recently I decided to try out my first project and create an animation by combining the previous stuff I've learned.

I got a model from sketchfab, rigged it using mixamo, and found a tutorial on how to create a cracked marble material. Unfortunately, I noticed that if I add keyframes to the joints that the material I created doesn't move along (e.g. it looks as if sliding through the model, or basically that it's standing still while the model moves)

I assume this has something to do with projection, but I haven't found any solutions so far, any thoughts?

Here is the project:

I tried the pin material tag, which I assume is the sticky texture tag. It didn't help me

I tried adding the sticky texture but that didn't help :(

I am encountering this problem as well. Is there a way to get Pin Material working in Octane for Cinema 4D?

Hi,
did you change the projection from UVW / MeshUV to something else?

@bepeg4d, Hi Beppe, I didn't change the projection, but your question led me to consider that my polygon object (a C4D plugin) didn't have a UVW Tag which is apparently necessary for Pin Material to work. Thank you very much for your help! It's working now.
