Sorry, I had wrong material settingaoktar wrote:I cannot see any unexpected results. OGL texture preview in C4D viewport doesn't look the same as in LV. I tried different projections. Also Preview Size in Octane options works different that is described in manual - it control texture view in OGL viewport but by strange way.

Only uv mapping will give same results. Previews are like baking something in UV coordinate range of 0-1. Any other questions?SSmolak wrote:OGL texture preview in C4D viewport doesn't look the same as in LV. I tried different projections. Thank you. The last one probably. Is that normal behavior that procedural textures needs to be baked first to use them as bump inputs ?aoktar wrote: Only uv mapping will give same results. Previews are like baking something in UV coordinate range of 0-1. Any other questions?
I think about some of the new OSL textures, patterns. They don't work with bump even if they are black&white - they need to be backed.

Sorry to bother you again but I found little issue with changing compression type of multiple selected textures in Octane Texture Manager. If one of them has different compression type this button to change them dissapear. Also changing multiple textures at once for example 10 cause that we have 10 times click on the same option.

Yes it's like that because that's not a typical parameter.SSmolak wrote:Sorry to bother you again but I found little issue with changing compression type of multiple selected textures in Octane Texture Manager. Hello,
I have found a potential bug/limitation in mograph.
Check the following file please. Random color doesn't get through this setup. I have a cloner with blend mode as a child of a cloner with random color.

Let me know if this is working on your end.
Many thanks!

Rather than a bug this looks like a special case we cannot transfer the IDs of clones with current diagrams. It seems like fixable by making a small revision. I'm testing it to be sure that's safe to do.thanulee wrote:Hello,

Hi Ahmet,
please have a look at the two screen casts that show this last edition of the plugin in R25 and R23.
Why is R25 so reluctant with an annoying delay in the viewport while rendering?
R23 is much more responsive and makes more fun to work with while rendering.
Any hints for this?
Thank you - Ron

R25 is fast on me, no delays. You may have something about Octane settings/drivers/or scene content. Not sure.Ron wrote:Hi Ahmet,
