Thanks a lot aoktar.
If i can add a little thing. It would be super cool to have that little triangle drop down with all the tokens listet as well in the octane save tab.
Is this possible?

Is there a way to use CV tokens with octane so that a render sequence goes into one folder when using the time tokens like $ss $mm $hh.
the standard behavior is so that a sequence goes into one folder but with octane output it makes one folder for each image in the sequence.

Nope, if you're talking about this! Octane uses the C4D's token system.kkoonnsss wrote:Is there a way to use CV tokens with octane so that a render sequence goes into one folder when using the time tokens like $ss $mm $hh.

Continuing on from this,
If I use CV Tokens, specifically the Increment 2-digit $cv01
Whether in the file name or folder structure... the 1st few frames will render out correctly, usually 2 frames, then the rest of the render will increment 1 digit and continue on from there.
E.g..
\Filename_v01_0000.png this usually works for the first 2 files. Then it will increment to
\Filename_v01_0001.png
\Filename_v02_0002.png for the rest of the render. E.g. most of the files will be V02, not V01.
\Filename_v02_0003.png
Any reason why this might be behaving like this?

No idea, conversion is handled by internal functions of C4D. Please share a simple scene to check!bahgoogen wrote:Continuing on from this,

Thanks aoktar.
Here's a simple scene to demonstrate.
You will see the first 2 files will render into their own folder, and the rest creates a new v02 folder with the files named as v02.

This is what I get as output. I cannot see any v.. named subdirs. What do you think?bahgoogen wrote:Thanks aoktar.

It looks like you dont have "CV Tokens" installed?
It's a series of additional tokens you can get from cineversity with a subscription and CV-Toolbox.
https://www.cineversity.com/vidplaylist ... ns_install The $cv01 should turn into an incrementing 2 digit number.
So the first render sequence should be 01, then the second 02 etc.
Your is just printing the token name.

As I said, plugin is using native C4D function to convert token syntax to file names. This 3rd party should not be supported.
