Hi,

Is it possible to render motion blur with alembic deformation in Octane render?
If so, how do you set it ut?

If the alembic has a velocity "v" attribute, you can use it to render the motion blur.

Thanks,

Hi Juanjo, yes the alembic should have velocity data (motion blur renders fine in LW internal render and if I bake the scene and render it in Octane standalone render).

I have added the Octane_object_Properties to the object (didn't know you needed to do that) but it still doesn't render motion blur.
Is there something else I need to do?

I have the same problem with MDD files.

Make sure you've check the Photoreal MoBlur in Lightwave...(LW2015)
Normally, with a true render (F9 or F10) you should have the motionblur visible.
IPR don't render deformation MoBlur. (Only the camera, translation, scale and rotation are supported.)
