since we use a lot of alpha maps, i had to avoid direct shadows thru the trees- as they cast a 'rectangular' shadow on buildings..
(waiting for octane fix on this...eagerly..

strangely, when i try 'direct lighting' mode, the window panes (with blackbody property, and 90% transparency)- are actually somewhat transparent (which is preferred)..
But when i use pathtracing, these window panes are solid...
i could use some comments/suggestions on improving this..
i am new to octane btw- and still establishing the workflow (previously on vray for SU)..
