I read that for R25 not Monterey.cjadams wrote:they already said somewhere else in this thread that there would have to be a new build and it would most likely be PR 12 that was required

I'm really tired of the octane x crashing problem, even for the PR13, my project file crashed all the time. If something wrong with my file that's fine, but when i open GSG's light studio, just a little change, octane immediately crashed. no matter i use PR11 PR12 or PR13. i see no crash improvement since the PR11, so i'm selling my mac pro now, back to pc... Sorry for the complain guys.I don't know if someone else met the same problem.
GSG thing is using c4d shaders in lighting and it's not safe to use C4D shaders.jay1990929 wrote:I'm really tired of the octane x crashing problem, even for the PR13, my project file crashed all the time. Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist
3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw

With GSG, always go to c4doctane settings/C4D Shaders, disable the baking option into textures, and keep enabled only the OSL translation:

In this way, only C4D Noise and Gradient shaders will be converted to OSL Octane, while any other C4D Shaders will be excluded.
In particular, the C4D Layer shader is the more dangerous, but can be replaced with the new Octane Composite Texture node:

Hi,
here it is working without errors, but, since they are not Octane lights, the result is completely different from c4d standard render: Please write to help at otoy dot com, asking for Beppe, in this way I can try to investigate more deeply.

Hi all,
I have a small favor to ask. Would it be possible for you to put up a small table on the first page, that explains which version with which OS the respective PRxx is supposed to work? I just spent quite an amount of time trying to figure out if my version of C4D (R23) and my OS (11.4) and which Octane version will run with PR13 - it turns out it doesn't. The new Octane for Enterprise needs MacOs12, but I didn't see that information anywhere. I know it's obvious if you frequent the forum, but for me at least, it was far from clear.
Thanks a lot!
