OctaneRender 2020 for ArchiCAD [OBSOLETE]

Hi Paul.
I am using some ies lights and trying to find a node called efficiency at the emmision channel.
Seems it is not available or I am doing something wrong.

I do not know if it can be implemented if it is not already there but seems usefull as we can adjust the power of the light
to make more realistic the lighting result.

I am not sure whether efficiency is the texture node with a greyscale colour (0-1).....propably not because if I set the correct value it does not work correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

The "Efficiency or texture" pin was renamed "Texture" some time back - so use it (and the Power) to control the intensity.

I have posted a test version of the plugin for Octane 2021.1 at viewtopic.php?f=56&t=78052. I am not planning on doing any more releases for Octane 2020.
