I updated Houdini and after several attempts, it finally worked ! Honestly, I'm not sure Houdini's version was the issue and I'm pretty certain I had released all slaves before rendering...

Anyway, thanks a lot for your time !!

Hi, I am running the same issue, tried Octane_disableNetworkRendering didn't work.
I am using a rental version of octane, so it won't let me dive in the network option.
Is there any other solution?

Sorry, only to be sure. What's exactly your problem?

Thanks,

Thank you for reply, Juanjgon.

I am trying to render multiple settings out of my scene using PDG, each setting have only 1 frame.
I tried to speed up the processing time by increasing Slots Per Works Item to make it run multiple renders at the same time.
But it will show up an Authentication window says 'Another instance is currently performing authentication tasks'.

I tried disable network rendering using Textport. Didn't work.
And I can't turn off network rendering from ROP because I am using a rental license.
I am using Octane 2020.3.0 and Houdini 18.5.532

How do I prevent this message coming out?
Thank you very much!

Looks like I can just ignore the Authentication message, the render will still proceed.

Thanks!

There are some fixes related to the licensing authentication from multiple sessions in the latest 2020.2.5.0 build. Perhaps you could check if this problem is fixed in this build.

Thanks,
-Juanjo
