What I found today, if I use the side effects filter with render layer enabled everything goes blank, but if I use custom AOVs with the render layer for shadow and reflection I get separate passes for each and it works. Due to Octane pushing for a more robust AOV system is that option in the render layer panel in cinema no longer functional? I feel like it could still toggle and enable those render layer passes for Shadow/Black shadow/reflection without a manual AOV input for those. Not a huge deal but it's still there and not functional as it seems which is my point.
