I have an architectural scene that has quite a few instances and cloners. To make the scene managable, I've divided it into foreground, midground and background elements. I'm having problems with the background scene which has the most assets. The live viewer renders fine, but the picture viewer renders without textures. I've tried all suggestions, from making sure the instances are set to 'render instance', cloners set to 'instance', to adding Octane Object tags. Nothing works. I have a quad RTX 2060 Windows workstation. Graphics cards have 6GB of ram. I've tried attaching my scene file (490mb) with no success as the connection keeps timing out. You can find the scene here at Google Drive:

Your insight is urgently needed and appreciated.
Live Viewer renders fine. Picture Viewer renders no textures

Have you ever checked for possible error messages in log out from Console window? You may be out of VRAM because geometry data can be bigger in picture viewer mode.

Hi Ahmet,
Thanks for your quick reply. I'm not getting any errors, it's rendering fine both in Live or Picture view, except that in picture view most of the textures are missing. I've attached a render log. Please download the scene file from Google Drive and let me know what I can do to solve this issue. Thanks again!

Hi,
I had a look at your scene.
First of all, you have some c4d materials in the scene: Please always select them then use the Convert selected materials command in Live View menu Materials.
Then go to octane render Settings/Main tab, and change the geometry control from Auto to All Objects Movable
Then disable the Ignore unused materials option.
About Use all GPUs command, use it carefully, and only if you know what you are doing, if you have a weak GPU in the system, it will be enabled as well, reducing a lot the available VRAM: There are some missing textures in the scene, so they are also missing in Live View: A part from that, after the above changes, the scene seems to render correctly in both Live View and Picture Viewer: ciao Beppe

Hi Beppe,
Thanks for the help!!
Regarding the C4D materials, I always check for them and convert them, however in this scene, I decided not to use the objects that had the C4D material tags and I turned them off (visibility and render) and additionally assigned them to a layer that restricted rendering. Now I know to clean up the scene and remove unused assets before rendering.
Thanks again and hope you have a wonderful day.
