Hello,
just tried to get my c4d scene working inside standalone because I want to use RNDR for rendering.
Unfortunately after exporting as .orbx, the standalone does not show the fur of my character.
What I also tried is to use alembic instead of the c4d hair but thats also not working.
I am using an octane tag with render as hair + octane material (everything works fine inside c4d, no matter if I use c4d hair or alembic)
I really do not want to use geometry instead - Does the standalone simply don't handle splines at all?
Please help me out here.
Export hair/splines to standalone

It supports hairs. You should have a specific case, not common. Test your scene during export by "show result in Live Viewer" option.
