What are you rendering for being more specific?AaronWestwood wrote: Im getting the same issue (with multithreading disabled). Render will stop responding. I cancel it, refresh, but the render doesn't start up in a endless 'loop' with force quitting being the only option. Upon force quitting the Octane/C4D autosave bug report dialogue appears.
As the OP said its hard to pinpoint as it's seemingly random, but quite frequent.
After the render locks up, the C4D viewport still responds to updates just fine, but the Octane LV displays the green text 'updating' but it never refreshes and just spools....

Double install or keeping unused plugin dlls. These are possible reasons.rwalker wrote:I cannot get C4D R20 to launch past "Initializing Plugins" with this release. I have followed the instructions exactly. New "c4doctane" folder containing "Libs300", "res", and "c4dOctane-R20.xdl64" is in C > Program Files > MAXON > Cinema4D R20 > plugins. I have searched the forum for a fix but I am not finding any help so far.

Under R21 (updated to latest with current nVidia studio drivers) all lights built in an existing studio seem to have lost their intensity. Had to revert back to R3.

Would mind to do a better feedback? Area lights without Light tag will have a different intensity. It's not absolutely adviced to use without tags, because of don't having explicit control for light parameters.14bmwc780nike wrote:Under R21 (updated to latest with current nVidia studio drivers) all lights built in an existing studio seem to have lost their intensity.
