octane doesn't render to disk after the first frame

Hi,
What happens after rendering the first frame? Do you get an error message or something like that? If you enable the Octane log file in the plugin options panel, you could get more information about what has happened with the rendering session.
The first thing to check is if the scene cannot be rendered in "Update Scene" mode, something that can happen if the any of the scene objects has a non-constant topology along the animation. In this case, you must configure the render mode in "Full Scene Reload" to render the sequence.
If you want to attach the log file or send me the scene, I could check it here.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Hi, I have the same problem as giorgosg12. Specifically, if I render to disk, the first frame fully render (all samples) in Mplay but the render bar gets stuck close to the end in the render to disk progress window. Also, the first frame is only rendered in Mplay but it doesn't get saved to disk. I tried to switch to full scene reload but it didn't fix the problem.juanjgon wrote:Hi,

Hi, earlier I sent the scene and logs by DM. However, in the meantime I updated to the latest Houdini version and the latest Octane plugin version and that seems to have solved the issue.juanjgon wrote:Can you please send us the scene to take a look at it here? What Octane plugin version are you using? The full log could also help.
Thanks,

Thanks anyway.
