Displacement color problem

Hi,

i have a problem with a repetitive pattern displacement. The border is black.

Any help how to solve this?

seems like the same result with the borders.

i solved it for now by extruding the polygon inward. it´s not very nice, but you can´t see the black border anymore.

Hi,
try these steps:
- add to the polygon selection also the four polygons of the border.
- add an Octane Object tag with high subdivision on both level and sharpness.
- use the Displacement in Vertex mode, with 0 subdivisions.
- set the Border Mode in the ImageTexture node used for Displacement to White.
- use the UV Transform to reduce the scale until it matches the borders.
