Hi,
we have that problem, that an object using a proxy can have only 2000 copies in an AC-file. The 2001th copy won't be recognized as a proxy ("not a proxy").
We have tested it with GDL Parameters and without GDL Parameters.
We have newly very big projects, and we should arrange plenty of lamps and so on. It can't be solved with scatter, we have place them one by one.
Thank you for your help!

Not ideal I know, but can't you just create a second/third version of the same object lampV1.gdl, lampV2.gdl, lampV3.gdl etc linked to the same proxy file?
