Yep ! :) You know, Octane is a really cool piece of software but what keeps bothering me a little is the lack of documentation/support for new features, I mean , they're there, but it takes quite a bit of effort to uncover them.*End of rant, just had to get that off my chest haha.

I hope Travis's and my contribution will prove useful to people looking to get into the OCIO/ACES workflow with Houdini + Octane and After Effects / Affinity Photo/.. :)

If a Mod reads this, it might be worth plugging ? Thank you.

BTW are you on Discord Travis ? If you are and want to add me as a friend, here's my username : Wout#9629 :D

Another test render, I'm really digging the color blending and how nice the lighting looks with the ACES/OCIO workflow :) Yay :)
Thank you Otoy / Juanjo for implementing it albeit a bit cumbersome to set up :)

WoutTgh, I just got 2021.2, but still having a hard time setting it up, could you export an .orbx with a simple setup? I usually just save out a .exr and edit that in PS (highlights/shadows)

Hi whersmy,

,an orbx would only give you half of the workflow right :) Are you on Discord, maybe we can have a chat/screen share. That might be a bit quicker :)

You don't need to flood a scene with lights, you can setup your scene with little lights and the results are better due to energy conservation.

Do you have a reference photo/render that illustrates your point? Or do you mean that you can have a low intensity HDRI letting light in the scene, and having extra smaller lights to fill the room?
