on M1 Mac Mini I'm having a material problem when I try to use any metal value greater than 0. The metal values simply do not work and strange artifacts occur. This does not happen with Octane X PR6 on Catalina.

See attached video.

Is there any idea when the next version of OctaneX C4D plug-in will arrive? Hopefully with the denoising issue fixed.

Any update regarding the Apple M1 plugin for C4D?

Currently running C4D PR6 on Catalina, should I upgrade to Big Sur for the PR7 update? I'm apprehensive to upgrade whole system in case things slow down

Pretty sure Octane is faster using Big Sur. I've been on it for ages and no real problems (although denoising doesn't currently work properly so you can't render sequences with it activated). Catalina is fine, but Big Sur is the future, so may as well jump on board!

Thanks. I do all my denoising in post anyway, so I might jump in.

What do you use for denoising? The built-in system is really useful with most scenes, but especially with volumes. Really cuts down on render times.

Upgraded to Big Sur and Downloaded PR7: Is there a reason it still says PR6?
