Hi wondering if anyone has any ideas how to solve this issue with Octane?

We have been paying for two seats of Octane C4D for some months now.
Turns out we couldn't bake Octane renders on a Mac for some reason or another.

So our designer bought a massive and expensive PC workstation with two Nvidia 3070s
so he can make game-ready assets.
Now we find that Octane does not work on those cards - denoising is broken!

All I need is a way to get Octane to work so my team can bake lighting.
How can I do this? Is the only way to buy more (older) computers and GPUs?

Feeling frustrated.

Hi,
the Camera Baking issue should have been already solved in the latest OctaneX version

About Ampere RTX 30X0 GPUs, to have the correct support you need an Octane version based on 2020.2 SDK.
You can find the latest c4doctane plugin 2020.2-RC6 here:

Happy GPU Rendering,

Thanks so much Beppe.
Sorry to make you eye-roll!

I did check the forums very thoroughly before asking this question.
I could see lots of other users having similar issues, but no fixes.

We will look forward to trying the release candidate.
Thanks again,
Chris.

Hi Chris,
about Baking Camera, please try with PR7 for Big Sur 11.1, it seems to work correctly here:
