I haven't optimized it for animation purposes. People choose this way. Btw tested that it doesn't update because the distribution object doesn't generate a message for updates. Putting a null under that and animate will trigger.
Now I've made some revisions to detect PSR updates for the distribution object.

Hey Aoktar, is this build ready to work with NVLINK 3090's or no?

Seems to crash C4D 95% of the time.

Tested on both R20 & R23
Windows 10 x64
64GB RAM

I don't have 3090, ok with nvlink on 2080s. Also this is not a plugin related topic. Can you please try in standalone and report in SA topic if it happens there?

Hey there;

Having render freeze when I have objects with keyed visibility attiributes. Tested with default cinema4d visibility property and octane tag visibility slider.

When the render reaches to the frame with the visibility key it stops calculation and hangs. This doesnt happen in the LiveViewer.

Im using HDR/sRGB output with no denioser. 2x RTX3080. having RTX on or off doesnt make a difference. I'm sending the sample scene file to aoktar.

Since this version 2020.2-RC6:
1. Rendering to PV with Render Layer feature, adds Shadow pass in PV, even if it not activated, but don't store it to the file. Small confusing. Why?
2. Using Denoised beauty pass - gives random result, the first rendered Denoised pass Ok, the second gives just a tiny square of denoised image at top left corner with other area black. The third Ok, and the fourth try gives cyan lines.
Changed just camera and file name to save.
Please see attached image. Left was second try and right one was fourth.

works in standalone, doesnt in c4d. Crashes only with octane plugin, take octane out, no crashes

Also 3080s dont have NVlink last I checked?

nvlink is working with 2080s, don't know 3080s
Please post a better info:
1- _bugreport.zip
2- File generated by "Generate Log Report" button from settings/other
3- Detailed explanations how it happens and with which scenes, plus some scene to reproduce your issue.

Testing the Composite Texture node and runnning into problems with the different blend/overlay/alpha options.
I made a simple 3 layer test with some color nodes, just to test basic functionality.
I also compared with a similar scene in Standalone (Also RC6), and they react differently to the same values.

In Standalone it works as expected. However, in Octane c4D, it does not appear to work correctly when I add a third layer. That seems to not blend properly.

See comparison in screenshots, and also in attached C4D file.
