F. Octane X STUDIO PR3
Thank You for any help

Standalone is not required. But why don't you keep it synced if you need standalone?pjano wrote:Hi!
I found only the PR4 plugin version/. Can I use that with PR3 Standalone?
Thank You

Yes, you can open in Standalone PR3, an .orbx file exported from c4doctaneX PR4, but be careful, PR3 does not have a good OSL support, so if you have used some OSL textures in c4doctaneX PR4, you will have issues in Standalone PR3 with that scene.

Thank You
So I was able to test Pr4 on my setup and I can confirm that working in the node editor is much more stable now but now I am getting random crashes. One even restarted my whole computer.
I am sending You my recent bug reports.
One thing that got me thinking was when You asked if the card is correctly powered. Is it possible that the card is recognized and working but still could be not connected in the egpu correctly?
Thank You
Piotr

Hi,
great to hear that you have more stability in node editor now, it means that the eGPU is working correctly.
In both logs, it is the AMD Radeon driver that is crashing.
The devs have identified and fixed a couple of issues for Navi GPUs, and will be available in next OctaneX PR version... stay tuned.
