Hi,
about coloring, you need to use a Volume Gradient in Scattering Ramp for diffusion, and in the Emission Ramp for the flames, the only trick is to always start with a black color from the left in the gradient: ciao Beppe

Thanks and this is done in 3ds max "Volume Gradient in Scattering Ramp for diffusion, and in the Emission Ramp " not in embergen?bepeg4d wrote:Hi,

The example that Beppe shows was done in Cinema 4D, but I imagine the same thing can be done in 3dsmax.coilbook wrote:Thanks and this is done in 3ds max "Volume Gradient in Scattering Ramp for diffusion, and in the Emission Ramp " not in embergen?bepeg4d wrote:Hi,

When we will see 5.5.3 version?
emberGen user already has a 5.5.3 version. Why we can't?
it should auto-update with each new release, let me confirm with the EmberGen team why that isn’t happening.
I had 5.5.0 installed. I just started it up and it did find and automatically updated. But only to version 5.5.2. It isn't updating me to 5.5.3 though. Nor do I see in the interface anywhere to force check for updates?

EmberGen Beta testers have already 5.5.4. We have only 5.5.2. Where 5.5.3?Goldorak wrote:it should auto-update with each new release, let me confirm with the EmberGen team why that isn’t happening.
Hi there.
Is there a command line option to select which GPU card to use for EmbergenFX simulation ?
(because I don't want to use the first GPU card which is use for display and all other stuff).
Regards.
