Hi !
I''m trying to render a rain scene where droplets supposed to be blurred. They are emitted by the Particles Emitter as a little spheres but it doesn't seem to work. I mean they are visible in the final render but without the MB. I applied the Octane Tag both to the Emitter and to the droplet but still there are no MB. Motion Blur in the OctaneCamera tag is also turned on. Am I missing something or Octane has some limits when it comes to working with these C4D native tools?
Best regards.
No Motion blur while using Object Emitter?

If I remember well, it should work, do you mind to share an example scene that shows the issue?

I checked some settings and now only some spheres (created by the Emitter) are affected by the motion blur.bepeg4d wrote:If I remember well, it should work, do you mind to share an example scene that shows the issue?

But there is one more thing. That MB is only shown in the Live Viewer but not in the final render(as the picture that I'm attaching is showing).
P.s. So sorry for such a late reply!
Regards,
A.M.
*EDIT* I don't think I can attach picture nor file : (
Please, write to [email protected] sharing your Otoy username, probably your Forum permissions need to be corrected.

Confirmed, there is an issue with motion blur and sandard emitter in Picture Viewer, I’m going to report this to the devs.
But, if you export the scene to Standalone, it works correctly, and you can render from there: ciao Beppe

If you try to use direct access for particle engine with standard emitter, motion blur is disabled on latest builds. Done for avoiding nonconsistent results.
Use standard emitter without objecttag/particle access.
