Hi,
Can you please check in the plugin "About" window if you have the right plugin build for your LightWave version? If you can attach a screengrab of this window, I can check it myself. Also, do you know if Standalone (the same version that the plugin is using) works fine on this system? Perhaps you have a problem with the Nvidia drivers or something like that.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Are you sure that you don't have two Octane versions installed in the Layout at the same time? You should check if you have more Octane.dll files in your hard disk to be sure that there is only one. You can also check the Layout plugins panel to check if two plugins are loaded.

Hmm, so do you have this problem with Octane 2020.1 (both the plugin and standalone) only? This is really weird, especially if you are working with the latest drivers. Can you please double-check if Standalone 2019.1.5 works fine, while at the same time Standalone 2020.1 doesn't work at all? I wonder if something is missing in this new system, but the Octane Standalone installer should install all the needed libs for sure.
