The dreaded live connection problem again. The sooner this gets dropped, the better.

I leave Octane running for hours with no known issues. I do believe my hardware may overheat, but im not sure of that yet.

YOu could run Rivatuner and its logging function to check the GPU stats. If something crashes/hangs7restarts you will see in the logs because they will end at a certain pont.

I leave it overnight but just in case, as I live in Barcelona and is such a hot place, I leave a big fan running next to my computer for apporting fresh air to the graphic cards

I see most of you successful have two cards, display+render combo... Is this the case?

I will try Rivatuner as well... thanks!!

my two cents worth.

I have done countless around 20-15 animations/turntables
Most of them overnight with two or one card with no problem what so ever.

I think that there are less problems with turntable animations, because Octane doesn't reload new frames.

I have had no problems with turntable so far, but as I said in other topics I have never been able to render a long real animation at night, because as soon as my internet connection has a failure, the rendering stops (Octane closes after each frame and open to reload the new frame, doesn't find internet connection and stops), and unfortunately it often happens (mainly at night for maintenance of the server or any other unknown reason).
