Thank you for you suggestion, gave it a try.

Switched it off , same spiking happening in the CPU utilization when tumbling :(

And have you noticed which program(Blender or OctaneServer) exhausts all CPU resources when spiking?
It should be also available from the Task Manager - Processes.

Is there any reason the OctaneServer is taxing the CPU?

And maybe a way to use octane locally , without the use of the Octane Server?

On my system, when manipulating camera in viewport, Octane server is using utilizing 100% of CPU power (all cores). While rendering 100% on one core.
CPU – i9 13900KF, 128GB RAM, GPU – RTX 4090
System – Windows 11

Just downloaded the new version of Octane for Blender , same issue with the AMD processor, any eta on when you might fix this? :(

Have you tried Octane Standalone? Is it the same?

Nope

Standalone works fine , it is the Octane Server that is taxing the CPU .
