Does Octane currently support multi-view EXR renders within Cinema 4D?
I am attempting to render a singular EXR file with a left and right stereo output channel for stereoscopic compositing within Nuke. The only way I've been able to achieve this is by rendering the left and right stereo outputs as two separate EXR files, and then joining the views in Nuke.
This article describes multi-view EXR files in depth. https://www.openexr.com/documentation/M ... penEXR.pdf
Multi-view EXR Renders with Octane inside C4D
Hi,
you can do both Side-by-side and Over-under Stereo output with c4doctane Camera tag: ciao Beppe

I appreciate the reply, however this is not multiview. A multiview file stores the same scene from multiple different points of view in EXR file channels. A singular file, singular POV image, no side-by-side or over-under. Like switching between an alpha channel and rgb channel, you can toggle between a left and right channel view.
The method you described only allows side-by-side and over-under stereo output in one image channel. I assume Octane doesn't have this capability yet, and I'll have to render left and right separately and join them in Nuke and CaraVR like this.

There may be some plugins.
