When I switch off the nodes image looks fine. Any idea why is this happening ?

Just tested 2019.1 RC3 and it is working fine in that regard.
I have the same bug.
As soon as network nodes start rendering, the rendered image gets messed up

Another issue. syCloth plugin for dynamics with Octane lead LW to crash. I can’t check now how previous versions of 2018-19 Octane worked with this plugin. But I had a project with syCloth and Octane 4 and there were no problems.
Honestly, the reason may be in the LW itself, since there are problems when playing the results of calculating the dynamics of syCloth.

It can be some kind of issue on the syCloth plugin side. It is hard to say ... can you please attach the Octane log file that you get after one of these crashes?

Hi,

I've reported all the issues found with this build (broken network rendering, volume rendering issues/crashes, changes in the layered materials, etc.) to the core devs, so they are aware of them. I suppose that they come from some last-minute commits to the Octane core just before releasing it, so I hope that we could have a new 2019.1 core soon with all these problems resolved.

Thanks for your patience,
-Juanjo

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but we also cant step back a build or two, as every build prior to this one (when using any version of lightwave 2019) now fails licence activation, giving the error message

"Activation Error.
This build is not supported, please update to a newer version"

I'll try to release later a temp build using the Octane 2019.1 RC5 core that still works.

Thanks,

Hi,

Due to some issues found in this build related to the network rendering and other problems, I've released a new temp beta build of the plugin including the Octane 2019.1 RC5 core. It should help to continue working with your current 2019.1 projects because as you probably have found the latest beta plugin including the RC3 core has expired.
