Is there any reason you can't just start scrolling with your mouse until you're out? or use the exporter for your software, to use the modeling apps camera position?

If it's slowing down, don't forget that you can turn on 2x2 or 4x4 subsampling to increase the speed of interactivity.

This has happened to me before in the earlier versions but I've only managed to pan the camera out of the mesh once and that was before Octane dynamically tweaked the scrolling speed depending on how close you were to the mesh.

I export from some software that doesn't have a plugin so I'm stuck with obj export unless I want to go through another program that does have an Octane plugin.
