I've been testing a few obj's over the last couple of weeks and occasionally the camera starts inside the object and I have to twist the camera around until I "find my way out" and can see what I'm doing again. An option to auto zoom the camera out so you can see the whole object, aka zoom to selection, would be greatly appreciated for these object preview renders the object nodes do. If cameras can be imported along with obj's now I could get by with that for the time being.

This already on the TODO list ;)
Don't worry the beta will solve a lot of things...

Hi,

Loading and Saving octane scenes/projects is a feature of the upcoming commercial beta version.

Lately this hasn't happened as much with imported OBJs but occasionally I will have a situation where the camera starts inside the object and I can't navigate my way out because the preview screen will be black and the panning speed falls off the closer to the object polygons the camera gets. A Zoom to Selection or similar button that would pull the camera out so you could see the entire object would be much appreciated. While its not an immediate necessity, whenever you get to that part of your list I'd be very grateful to see it implemented.

*edit*
Reimporting fixed the last one I just had but I still don't understand why it happens with some models and not others, etc.

Is zoom to fit in yet? I just fired up the latest beta only to have my camera start inside the mesh and so my view port was all black. I need an easy way to pull the camera out because I can't see what I'm doing whenever it happens and its rather frustrating... :|
